I found this Soviet-era floral baika at a flea market in Chișinău, sold by an elderly woman. This soft, brushed fabric was traditionally used for warm pyjamas and house robes.
I transformed its domestic warmth into a long autumn–winter skirt with generous tiers and striped-lined pockets—a garden made for cold days.
