I found this red-and-black fabric at a flea market and planned to make an enormous market tote. But on the cutting table, it disagreed. It wanted movement, not errands.
So it became a pair of sweeping culottes, finished with a contrasting striped waistband. The tote bag never existed. The rebel did.
