I found this deadstock fabric in a shop specialising in leftover textiles and bought it simply to create something. Its fine charcoal lines suggested structure, so I gave it broad pleats and oversized patch pockets—a quiet, practical and deliberate skirt.
With its sale, a perennial feather reed grass will be planted, echoing the fabric’s long vertical lines. A photograph will be shared on our Instagram.
